Chicago Toy & Game Weekend #ChiTAGFair @ChicagoToyNGame
I love to attend games & toy fair (ahem, Toycon!)
Just few more days before Christmas, it is important for us to check the latest toys, gadgets, games and everything that we love to purchase during holiday shopping season.
Last Saturday, I went to Chicago Toy & Game Fair in Navy Pier. An annual public toy fair event here in Chicago. I was able to see variety of toy and game exhibitors and the most great part is — we can touch, play and enjoy each products.
I’ve read that the Hall can accommodate 20,000 visitors on two days (Saturday and Sunday).
The event also includes a toy and game themed fashion show wherein it promotes the importance of play and to give recognition for toy and game inventors.
Other highlights includes to meet the Star Wars team and have breakfast with them. As well as an opportunity to meet some Inventors and learn more about their latest ‘toys’ and ‘games.’
As I entered the hall, I saw this Razor’s cool Crazy Cart. Kids line up patiently and it’s worth the wait. You can see them enjoying driving this cool ride that can move forward, backward, 360, sideways and so forth.
The next item I saw was the ‘Laser Pegs,’ I like its bright colors and you can build a car or plane or spaceships from this tiny laser things.
And then, here comes Battroborgs. I saw this for the first time and its fun to watch two robots battling on the ring. Beside this booth is the Chuggington Stack Track and kids play with the Tomy Booth from trains, building blocks, etc.
ChiTAG is founded in 2003 (wow, 11 years and counting!), the two day event offers interactive exhibits, human size game boards, tournaments, contests and fashion show!
A perfect event for the upcoming holiday. I’m sure kids have already listed their favorite games and toys.
