Sonic Boom Shockwave at Megaworld Lifestyle Malls

Music fans are in for another series of spectacularly jolting and rocking nights this August as Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, Built by Sonic and Sonic Boom Philippines bring Sonic Boom Shockwave 2013.
The country’s top bands along with the hottest up and coming indie recording groups and other mainstream artists are coming together for a series of concerts, in what could easily be one of the biggest rock events of the year.
Kicking off the three-leg rock show that music fans can exclusively catch at Megaworld Lifestyle Malls is the Sonic Boom Light at Lucky Chinatown. Happening on August 16 from 5pm onwards at the malls’ Chinatown Walk, the show will be showcasing the lighter side of rock music and will be bannered no less by Barbie Almabis, Kate Torralba, Julianne, Jensen Gomez, Tricia Garcia, Clara Benin, Carlos CastaƱo and Robin Nievera.
Indie bands such as Walkie Talkies and Brisom and funk-rock group Extrapolation are also set to give the audience their own brand of chilly music.
Following a week after on August 24 at the Venice Piazza at McKinley Hill is Sonic Boom S.U.B., which will highlight a unique set of artists that will subliminally take the audience to an entirely different sound scape.
All set to give raw and downright dreamy music with a swag from 6pm onwards are rock and indie groups such as Kjwan, Radioactive Sago Project, Turbo Goth, Join the Club, Chillitees, The Naked Lights, Ron Henley, Peso Movement, Ang Bandang Shirley, Drifters of Dreamscape, Dragonfly Collector, The ButcherCons, Top Junk and Paranoid City.
And closing out the music fest in boisterous fashion are top rock groups Typecast, Hilera, Salamin, Franco and Urbandub, who will be top-billing the Sonic Boom: Boomsday, happening on August 30 at the Eastwood Central Plaza from 6pm onwards.
Joining them in the final gig are Faint Light, Tonight We Sleep, Even, Ibarra, Drop Decay, Wilabaliw, Sirens, Curbside, Salamin, Jejaview, Earth Mover and Angulo.
