Weekend Overload: Limbo, Astroplus and Team Muzang

Despite of my allergies, I still manage to go out and attend these awesome activities last time.

Limbo, my first Halloween party with my friends. I rarely go out during Halloween because I don't want to see scary and gory people. Then, I have realized these are just props! We should not be afraid of them. For entertainment sake, I joined the party and what happened? Well, watch this video clip. There were party goers in their Halloween costumes and overflowing drinks plus a cool party dance. There were also fun contests that night. Unfortunately my friends didn't selected as winners. It's okay, I know they have fun onstage.

Astroplus is one my destination whenever I am inside the malls. This place caters all kinds of entertainment from movies, music, gadgets and a lot more. We had the 2nd bloggers event and this time it was held in Podium in Ortigas. I was there to get to know more about the latest music and movie releases of different labels and movie distributors. Once upon a Wicked Witch: My costume for Halloween

I am not that into dressing up something gory or horrible this Halloween but I prefer to wear something comfortable and can be useful on the next evening events so I decided to buy two black dresses at The Market! Market! in Taguig.

So, Here's what you need to dress up like a 'witch'

1. a simple black long sleeve clingly shirt or long black skirt. Also, wear black ponchos for extra points!
2. black shoes, can be plumps, wedges or black boots
3. dark hair (white wigs for good witches) or blonde (use a hairspray color if you wanted)
4. add hat to complete your outfit, a broomstick is also good!
5. black nail polish (optional), you can also buy fake black nails at the beauty-accessories shop
6. make up is not really necessary (am allergic to any coloring materials) but you may also follow this tips at ehow - Dress up like witch

Pesos and Sense seminar series 1: Make your money grow @pesosandsense

Last week, I was really fortunate to learn on how we value our money and make it grow!

We have our own perception in how we can save money but at sometimes we are afraid to invest because we don't fully understand the true essence of it and learning that our colleagues have been scammed because they invested a lot of money because the company promised that their money will doubled in an instant. And, through this horrible experience, we tend to refuse to listen to other investment opportunities because we don't want to experience it.

Why you are not investing? As I've mentioned previously, we have created the 'fear' of losing our own money and lack of knowledge of understanding why you are entering such kind of activity. Also, you have a huge expenses to deal with and spending the money first before we earn it.

In this session, we were asked; "What is a good investment" - is it the latest gadgets you bought? Actually, it depends on the purpose. Once you have…

Finding ways in saving money

We have our own goals in how we are going to attain and get the things we wanted. Any form of investment in your retirement, family need or personal emergencies should always start on how you save.

Thinking of ways in saving money? Then, it's easy to learn how:

Prepare your own meals: Start with cooking at home at least 2x a week and prepare a one week meal plan for your family so that you can go to the supermarket every week to buy your food items.

Coffee breaks: I know that this is not easy but at least I've tried to skip buying coffee outside and instead make my own coffee at the office.

Making a list before shopping: I am not an impulsive buyer but for some reasons I tend to buy something that is not really useful and ended up purchasing extras. Make sure that you list the items you need first before going out.

Buy in Bulk: I usually buy toiletries in bulk, and it saves a lot of money. I stock up items like shampoo, toothpaste, toilet paper etc every week.

Bring your own bag: Th…

Thursday Adventure: Pizza Party, Joke Time and Derek Ramsay

First, I cannot think of a good title. Thursday brought me so much FUN so that's why my story will be divided into three parts: Pizza Party, Joke Time and Derek Ramsay.

Pizza Party

I missed eating pizzas! and I declared Thursday as my cheat day (LOL). We ordered 20 inches - 2 pizza flavors (meat lovers and all veggies) at Big Guys Pizza in Libis, Quezon City. Wow, that was really huge! Everyone is really excited when the pizza delivery man arrived inside the office. Spending quality time during break time with my team is really fulfilling. I think I should organize this kind of food gathering every payday. Honestly, we usually went out to dine or to hang out every Friday :)

Joke Time

I borrowed this book from my colleague, and It was really funny. I was browsing the pages and I laughed on every details...Super straight to the point, and tatamaan ka talaga if guilty ka. Unfortunately, the book is currently sold out and we are still waiting for restocks. Fantastic!

We are always thinking of how we can improve on certain aspects like in career, lifestyle or even enhancing our skills so that we can able to cope up with the trends. As time goes by, we are looking forward to experience something memorable and personal. In those days we would love to spend it with our family and friends. Manila waited for Wilson Phillips for almost 22 years! That's right, I was really surprised to find out that they are coming to Manila to perform their greatest hits in SM Mall of Asia Arena (MOA Arena). From their all time hit songs, You're In Love; Release Me; Hold on and The Dream is Alive.

album of all time by an all female group breaking the records of The Supremes.

Though it took over 20 years before they perform here in Manila, the group was very excited to perform the songs because they all knew t…

SM Cyberzone opens in SM City Sta Mesa

I just wanted to share my first visit to SM City Sta Mesa's Cyberzone which opened last week.

Thinking of where is the best place to shop for the latest electronics in Manila? We are all love checking on different techno hubs around Metro Manila to search for great deals on cameras, computers, electronic gadgets, accessories and more.

I always consider buying gadgets in a mall compared with buying online. Though we have our own choices which venues we prefer but mostly I don't trust purchasing online. We may be fooled and overwhelmed with the huge discounts they are offering but reducing the guarantee and warranty of the product. Well, just make sure that you carefully read the terms and condition before you purchase anything.

One of my goal this year is to buy a new digital camera, I checked SM City Sta Mesa's Cyberzone and start comparing prices of electronic brands like Samsung, Olympus and Nikon. I even told my brother, Azrael that I am going to save money so that I can b…
