Image
It's soft, chewy and has edible wrapper made from sticky rice. I haven't tasted White Rabbit candies for quite some time until my friend bought this last week. So, I immediately asked some pieces (oh so sweet!). I was like a kid when I saw this, don't worry it's safe to eat and now repackaged. Oh, this one is really good. Hello calories!

Touring around Ciudad de Calamba :)

Image
Translated as City of Calamba, "Ciudad de Calamba" is a modern Filipino-Hispanic town developed by Filinvest. Model House Spent my relaxing weekend and enjoyed walking around the community. Good thing that there is a clubhouse wherein we can dive into the pool to freshen up (Swimming time!). The Clubhouse Inside the Clubhouse Playground The pool How to get there? If you're commuting from Manila, alight at SM Calamba and ride a special tricycle service going inside Ciudad de Calamba. Though the rates were really different but its ranging from P150-200, the travel time is 15-20 minutes. Or if you have a car, take the Batino exit at the South Exit and you straight ahead, follow the route going to Ciudad de Calamba. Visit their official website at http://www.filinvest.com.ph/page.aspx?id=230 and http://ciudad-de-calamba.com/ Note: There is no public transportation 24/7 so you have to take the risk of contacting your neighborhood's special trike service LOL

My Post-Birthday Celebration ended here at Binondo

Image
SPOT THE DIFFERENCE! My Iced Cold Coffee Jelly Featured as one of the World's Best Chinatown and famous on its 'purple' trademark in Ongpin, my last post birthday celebration aka food trip ended here in Binondo. Considered as one of my most favorite weekend destination, I enjoyed walking around Ongpin Street maybe because of its delicious and authentic Chinese delicacies (hopia for Eng Bee Tin, for the win!). I tag along a friend to be my food trip companion and we decided to take our lunch at Cafe Mezzanine , the Volunteer Fireman's coffee shop located at the 2nd level of Eng Bee Tin shop. We ordered Kiampong, Spring rolls, lechon kawali and radish cake (my ultimate favorite). My friend and I haven't seen each other for almost a month and we updated ourselves with the latest news happening around us  (in short: chismisan). The funny thing was, I was wearing purple on that day thinking that I seriously connected with the cafe's theme. Kiampong :) Sprill Roll

Busy Monday = Jerry Yan + BSB

Image
I had a great weekend adventure despite of last minute cancellations. So, I have to detour and organized my schedule in less than 24 hours. Wait for my blog post :) [caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="403"] Filming new series :P[/caption] Monday is our favorite day of the week (roll eyes), what made me happy? I browsed and surprised when I saw Jerry Yan's new hairdo (short hair, FTW!). Now, am thinking how did the producer/director convinced him? It was such a full transformation, he looked younger with his new hairstyle (no more flipping hair?) :) winks. And, my favorite boyband of all time - The Backstreet boys' own version of Harlem Shake. I'm excited to go home because I wanted to view this clip from Youtube. Mega laughtrip to the max..hay, back to work LOL

3 Day Sale, Arcade Games and Free Massage at SM Marikina

Image
Sunday Afternoon - I was really bored at home and decided to check out SM Marikina (10 minutes from my home, LOL). Mall shoppers were busy buying summer stuffs like inflatable pools, gears and swimwear. Others were busy buying school stuffs, yes, I saw parents buying bags for their children, shoes and school supplies.   Next in line, pink utensils? why not! My goal that day was to find something cute, like this Hello Kitty beddin gs from its original price of Php2000, and selling for Php1800 (too expensive!). At the same time, I'm looking for a new pair of sandals - unfortunately, I didn't like the designs of the wedges I saw in the display so I decided to take my late lunch at Bacolod Chicken Inasal . I was thinking if am going to watch a movie or just stay in Starbucks (I brought my book) and have some fun time reading. As I toured around the mall, I enjoyed playing basketball at the Quantum and I scored 30 points LOL (I'm not good at basketball, but this one is reall

My Birthday Celebration - Part 2 (Mission Accomplished!)

Image
As promised, here is the second installment of my celebration. My original plan was to book the voucher I've bought from Ensogo but I wasn't able to reserve it right away so I searched for another Karaoke place in Ortigas (Music Match). Me and my friends love to sing (though am out of tune, lol!) ... And, also we have a special mission on that night. I lived in Pasig so Ortigas or Quezon City are the two most convenient places for gimiks and hang outs. I immediately reserved a room few weeks before my birthday celebration. Good thing that Music Match accommodated us and gave us a good room :) What was our special mission? One of my friend is proposing to his girlfriend. Kilig much! I have uploaded the video on my Facebook Wall and some of my friends were touched by his gestures. It's just a raw video and we have to edit some of it for his wedding presentation. Anyways, we had a great time and spent the rest of the hours at Starbucks. Talked about future plans (vacations)

My Birthday Celebration - Part 1

Image
I just turned 34 last week (March 14) and I spent the entire weekend with people who are close to my heart. It's an all girls party and we really loved hanging out together. I reserved a room at I-Suites in Quezon City (that's near Araneta coliseum & Gateway), a good venue to those who has a busy schedule like us. We meet at the evening and brought our goodies, foods and gifts. We ordered our dinner at Tatami Restaurant (run by I-Suites management) and we were overwhelmed with its big servings (busog!). My birthday was not complete without a 'cake' ... That's right, I'm still Ms Daomisyel and this name will be treasured forever LOL. The next day, my girlfriends came in and we had breakfast at Tatami. We ordered Daing na bangus, Sausage and Tocino. We had so much fun talking about several things in life (career, personal, daily rants, etc) and we're planning to have a sleep over soon :) can't wait! To all who greeted me on that day, Thank you so muc

Make the most of your life, Seriously!

Image
If you are the kind of person who always complain about anything because you are not reaching your goal or someone that seem not satisfied with what he or she has done with their lives, then, I know its difficult to control our feelings but how we can make exactly make our lives worth-living? (cue instrumental songs...) I do not feel embarrassed to share my downs to someone who is very close to me, can be your family, a relative, or close friend because talking to someone and knowing that someone is listening to you gives me comfort. Learn not to overact. I am guilty of showing my true emotions and I always hate pretending. If I don't feel good, it shows on my mood. If I am happy, it shows on my smile. But giving more tensions will be more stressful. So, learn on controlling your emotions. (I hope am battery operated). I wished and prayed that you will find what you really want in life. Yes, I quoted myself. I sent this message to a friend. Maybe this person needs to reflect and

Choosing Stainless Steel Jewelry as your Fashion Accessories

Image
To make an interesting look and fabulous and add charm to your personality, you have to find the right pieces.  Fashion accessories can be boring if you didn't blend it well with your clothes. From choosing the classic designs to patterns, these styles can be too generic. Why not start adding pieces that you'll surely love like stainless steel  jewelry which becomes more popular because it create new trends. If you are interested in building your collection of accessories, consider stainless steel jewelry just like collecting gold and silver, these are made with highest grade stainless steel building good reputation as fashion accessories. Why some are not interested to feature your brands?

Image
Are you a blogger that has several offers from different brand names and confused which one to feature first on your blog? Or a brand manager who ended up selecting a wrong niche of people? Let's say that this Brand A offers something really worth-posting, but no matter how interesting your brand is, if you lack the motivation then it will not lead to a good conversion. How these people motivate themselves? Aside from monetary (ahem, yes there are pro bloggers that are good in this craft and earning a lot!) there are other ways to motivate them like goods, opportunities and partnership. People don't go to their blogs to buy something. Yes, that's right. They have just wanted to look for your opinion and influence them how good your products or services. Mostly, they are also looking for possible connection to get inspired with your posts. What your readers want? Since some brands are using the Internet to reach out to their consumers. It is better if they pitch qualifie

Pre-Birthday Weekend in Tagaytay

Image
March is one of my favorite month. This weekend is full of adventure and this is where I usually begins to celebrate my birthday. My birthday wishlist is to visit some places like in Tagaytay (my chosen destination). My first stop is to visit Pink Sisters of Tagaytay (The Convent of Divine Mercy) . In this sacred place, we will see our nuns dressed in pink and I offered a prayer by writing it on a sheet of paper which the nuns will read it infront of the altar. To keep the ambiance solemn, cameras and phones are not allowed to use inside the church. So, I took some photos outside. Next to visit is the Church of our Mother of Perpetual Help , located near Keni Po (few blocks from Picnic Grove). I've attended the Sunday mass. The church is in the middle of the parking lot and you will see vehicles coming inside. Outside Taal Vista Hotel . I'm waiting for Sky Fun Amusement Park at Sky Ranch to open so I've decided to walk around nearby Taal Vista Hotel and took my brunch at
