Wilson Phillips: Live in Manila, my concert experience!

Manila waited for Wilson Phillips for almost 22 years! That's right, I was really surprised to find out that they are coming to Manila to perform their greatest hits in SM Mall of Asia Arena (MOA Arena). From their all time hit songs, You're In Love; Release Me; Hold on and The Dream is Alive.

Their songs hit the number one spot in Billboard Hot 100 USA and also the group is awarded as the best selling
album of all time by an all female group breaking the records of The Supremes.

Grew up together, Wilson Phillips aside from their parents have also their own musical influences like Elton John, ABBA, The Beach Boys and The Mamas & The Papas. Wilson Phillips arrived in Manila last week and they can't wait to perform onstage, it was revealed by Chynna that she wrote the song, Hold on during her very dark period of her life (source: Inquirer).

Though it took over 20 years before they perform here in Manila, the group was very excited to perform the songs because they all knew that the Filipinos are very warm and accommodating.

Wilson Phillips celebrate their 20th anniversary by releasing "Dedicated," an album covers the songs by the Beach Boys and the Mamas & The Papas.
AWESOME FRIDAY NIGHT!
I had a very memorable night last Friday, at last, I saw them perform their all time hits. I was really happy because the crowd were very amazed with the group's performances. From the opening number, Wilson Phillips did some cover songs at it was really fantastic. They also sang 'Kokomo'... and the crowd went wild singing the song!

Hold On, which became a hit from the movie - The Bridesmaids. And, everyone went crazy singing it.
