JAZZ AT AYALA MUSEUM IN A CHRISTMAS JAM SESSION

PRESS RELEASE Ayala Museum and the Philippine International Jazz Festival Foundation culminate a wonderful year of jazz in its final concert for the year entitled “A Christmas Jam Session” on December 14, 2010, 7 pm at the Ayala Museum Ground Floor Lobby. The concert will feature an impressive roster of the most sought after jazz acts in the metro, many of whom have performed at previous “Jazz at Ayala Museum” concerts. Admission is free. “A Christmas Jam Session” is supported by Museum CafĂ© and SATB. “Jazz at Ayala Museum” is a concert series that delivers the best local and international jazz artists in the aim of further developing and diversifying the Filipino musical experience. JAZZ AT AYALA MUSEUM THIS NOVEMBER

With the aim to further develop and diversify the music experience for the Filipino audience, Ayala Museum with the Philippine International Jazz Festival Foundation once again present Jazz at Ayala Museum featuring the best local artists of the genre. The concert series will feature Guarana on November 4, followed by the Astral Jazz Quartet on November 12 and Johnny Alegre HUMANFOLK on November 20. All concerts will be held at the Ground Floor Lobby at 7 pm. Tickets are priced at Php350.00, and proceeds shall be used to support the Museum education and outreach programs. Heavily inspired by the sensuous sounds of Brazil, the members of Guarana have long been ardent purveyors of the bossa nova and samba vibe in local Latin and jazz joints since their formation in 2001.
