Lovely Bones Expected release: January 29th Adapted from the best selling Alice Sebold novel of the same name, directed by Peter Jackson and starring Mark Wahlberg and Rachel Weisz. The films centres around a 14-year-old girl from suburban Pennslyania who is raped and murdered by her neighbour. She then goes on to tell her story from the in-between land of heaven and earth, following the lives of people around her and how they have changed since she was taken away from them. She then follows her fathers quest to find out who really killed her and the fall out her family suffer when he won’t let go of the past. Jackson apparently took on the project because he felt that not a lot of films dealt with the issues of a losing a loved one. We're very fortunate to attend the soft blessing of The Piazza at Venice, McKinely Hill soft launch and blessing at McKinley Hill - The Fort, Taguig. Though some areas are not yet fully constructed, some restaurants have their soft opening too. As we checked the structure, it was more like a Philippine version of 'The Venice' Mall. Can't wait to see this newly built place soon!

Saw the documentary movie last October 31 and it was a mixed emotion. From the production down to the actual rehearsals, I must say that Michael Jackson really did his best.
