What will happen if Internet giants like Google, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon and Wikipedia announce a "blackout" of their services (I've read that Wikipedia is serious on a temporary shut down, I'm still reading and researching on the implications of this event) . SOPA stands for Stop Online Piracy Act, a bill supported and endorsed by powerful players composing of music and entertainment industry. If you're thinking if you and your country is affected by this issue - the answer is YES. We all know that the giant internet companies were from US. For example, you link something that has a copyright material without any notice or consent, your domain will be seized and search engines like Google will likely to de-index your site. Payment gateways such as Paypal will be taken away from you and that means you're not generating any income. Let's say if the website is outside US, you're instantly become a suspect. IF THIS BOTTLE COULD SPEAK, THEN ITS TALE WILL BE OF SURVIVAL AND STRENGTH OF SPIRIT During World War II, Coca-Cola was bottled by the USA Army for its troops at the battlefront in collapsible dixie lines set up in Leyte. After the war, San Miguel Brewery resumed bottling operatins in Cebu to provide refreshment for Filipinos rebuilding our war-torn country. Botles like this one were shipped from the dixie lines in Leyte to the Cebu Royal Plant for filling. In 1947, a barge transporting a shipment of 80,000 bottles including this one sank off Bantayan Island in Cebu, plunging its precious cargo into the ocean-to-be found 54 years later by fisher folk. Like CCBPI, this Coca-Cola bottle stands proudly, A true survivor of the challenges of Time. Taken from the Media Kick Off Party of Coca-Cola, January 6, 2012.

Yes, it's the first weekend of January and our schedules were full-packed. I am so happy to be reunited (again) with my friends. We held our New Year celebration and birthday celebration in our friend's house and exchange laughters, foods, stories. It's so nice to be with people that 'you can trust' and will stay by your side. Am thankful of having them because there were times we got so many things to share (day to day lives, beliefs, current issues, showbiz chikas). This 2012, I promise to socialize more with my friends and family.Stay away from the internet during weekends and plan activities ahead of time. We got wine, tequila, tanduay ice and pizzas. What a weekend! (ooops: drink moderately)

I want this cardigan. I hope I can find it on our local markets. Wish me luck!   source: http://www.geekalerts.com/hello-kitty-bow-cardigan/
