Reserve your flight at Air Summit Gourmet - Tayabas, Quezon

Going to Quezon province to buy "pasalubongs" was one of our to-do list of our 10 day Philippines adventure. I saw this Air Summit Gourmet restaurant on the Internet and I was curious how it looked like so we decided to visit this airline by land!

Located in Barangay Dapdap in Tayabas, Quezon, this airplane restaurant has an immigration counter for guests to check in to get your order before boarding inside. I was told that this airplane was bought and modified as a restaurant. I read the menu while waiting for check in at Kamayan sa Palaisdaan resort - yes, the plane is inside the resort and we booked overnight to explore the place. Don't get confuse because Kamayan sa Palaisdaan has also a "Summit Cafe & Restaurant" on top of the resort overlooking Mt Banahaw where we had our dinner and it's a music bar with live karaoke / band. Across of the restaurant is a huge pool.

Kamayan sa Palaisdaan resort has different types of accommodations: reshouse for more than 20 persons, villa rooms good for 4 persons, dormitory type rooms for more than 15 persons, standard and deluxe rooms for two inclusive of use of swimming pools, complimentary breakfast and check in time is at 2pm and check out at 12nn the next day.

For those who love 'food tripping,' Kamayan sa Palaisdaan has floating bamboo rafts and offered variety of "Filipino Food" or "lutong bahay Quezon version." Other featured amenities are camp site, trail trek, view park, half court basketball, garden hall, poolside hall and zip line.
