Toys R Us - Closing Sale

Toys R Us is one of my favorite hangout. I usually go there to if there are new toys to check out or if am looking for presents on Christmas. The company announced that they are closing all 735 stores in United States, going out for business sale is ongoing on several branches that until they run out of inventory :(

I stopped by at Niles, IL branch nearby my home on a Saturday afternoon to check out some of the toys that I want to adopt. The outside "going out business" banners were posted even plastered on store doors.

Upon entering inside the store, I saw discount banners up to 50% on each aisle. Each brands also labeled how much discounts they offer and a guide pricelist pasted on each racks.

There were aisles that were empty and some toys were mixed up so it is hardly to select on small items.

  • Barbie dolls and accessories are 40% Off. I'm looking for holiday dolls but I think its already sold out.
  • Some DIY Kits are 50% OFF from baking, slush machine, sweet tarts and ice cream maker.
  • Star Wars Toys are 40% OFF from action figures, accessories and nerfs. Animated and Movie inspired toys are also 40% Off - From Star Wars Rebels, Force Awakens, Rogue One.
  • Babies R Us are sale from 40% to 50% - baby clothes, accessories, and fixtures
  • Mickey Mouse toys are 40% OFF other characters also on sale - Elmo, BayMax, Minions, etc
  • So I walked again to Star Wars aisle and I saw this Star Wars BB8 Mega Playset 50% OFF - $74.99!
  • Luva Bella, Baby Alive and other babies playmates are 5o% OFF

Boxes of huge merchandise were scattered and some aisles were closed because its already emptied. Few bikes and cars were left on display. The shelves and fixtures were also on sale so you can ask for assistance if you want to purchase them.

I know some other branches were already closed. If you are planning to visit any Toys R Us Store, you can use this website  -
