The third installment of Bloggers Conference for My Househusband: Ikaw Na was held last December 7 at Napa Restaurant in Scout Borromeo in Quezon City . The first installment happened last November 4 at Dulcinea Tomas Morato together with movie directory Joey Reyes and the Second with Eugene Domingo at Kenny Rogers in Katipunan last November 30. I was really excited to see the couple because I am a great Ryan-Juday fan (hahaha). Since this is their comeback flick since Kasal, Kasali Kasalo and Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo and Everybody is looking forward for their next film. The bloggers waited a few minutes because the couple had to attend numerous interviews from the press people. The couple arrived at the room and the conversation started. It is a dream come true for me to meet the real-reel life husband and wife Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos at the Bloggers Conference for the movie, My Househusband: Ikaw Na which is the official entry of Octo Arts for 2011 MMFF. Judy Ann is Mia who is married to Rod (Ryan), a family story of balancing their careers and raising their kids. As well as keeping the priorities in life and challenges to face when Rod loses his job and be the 'househusband.' Also starring in this film is Eugene Domingo (which we all know also starred in different MMFF entries), Aida (Eugene) plays Rod and Mia's neighbor and a mistress who lives next door and eventuall end up as Rod's BFF. According to Eugene, it finds very refreshing to portray such kind of role that will bring the film neither over the top nor subdued but 'just right.' My Househusband is produced by Octo Arts Films starring real life couple Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos . Married for two years, the couple said that this movie is different; relating themselves as a new couple and adding up their children on the side. A light comedy about husband and wife who have exchanged roles at least in the traditional sense, that is, Rod stays at and tends to home while Mia earns a living. A film with a twist, more of the lighter and heavy side of parental and household duties. Quoting Ryan that this is not the usual 'andres de saya' film. His role has also an eyeopener and will give idea to the husbands like him in dealing such kind of situations.
