I've been thinking of going somewhere out of town to see Hello Kitty but the long wait is over! Hello Kitty is launching super size squish collectibles at Claire's. Squishies are soft material manufactured in different sizes and shapes (mostly inspired by your favorite toys, characters or food) and made out of Polyurethane. Winter is Out! Spring/Summer is In! I am so excited to unbox my latest Sanrio lootcrate! They emailed us couple of weeks ago that there will be some delays in shipping the box because of product quality issues. But wait, the long wait is over. I finally got a chance to share what I got for this quarter! Theme for this season: Naturally Cute! It is obviously cuteness overload upon opening the box. The box contains multi-character tote bag, choco cat or my melody baseball bat, multi-character crewneck, a sanrio bamboo travel cup, sanrio embroidered pin set and a sanrio trinket - mini stamp! I missed the Oakbrook schedule in Summer and I am so happy that the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck has another schedule this Fall somewhere nearby us! We lined up as early as 8 am to purchase official Hello Kitty merchandise and yummy treats! The truck arrived early to set up their menu and non-food merchandise outside LL Bean in Old Orchard Mall in Skokie, Illinois. The weather on that day was a bit cold! Hello Kitty fans from different areas drove couple of hours just to purchase Hello Kitty themed items starting from snack items like bow shaped bottled water, Hello Kitty cookies, 4 small pieces set of cakes and macarons and merchandises like shirt, mug and tumbler. I went to the Philippines for a two week short vacation and it's a must to block my schedule to visit Hello Kitty Dessert Bar in SM North EDSA . It was a gloomy friday when we traveled from Cavite to North side of Metro, the traffic was so bad early in the morning and we need to get back to Cavite before afternoon rush hour. Weeks ago, Hello Kitty Cafe truck visited Midwest USA (Illinois) and we lined up for two hours to grab yummy Hello Kitty treats. I am very eager to drag myself early morning to be able to complete my mission. Fortunately, when we arrived in SM North EDSA's Prime Block (3rd Floor) the store was empty so we went ahead and ordered different treats like doughnuts, tiramisu, coffee and shakes (with Hello Kitty faces & Sanrio gang on icings, toppings and coffee design).
