Hello Kitty Run Manila 2017

Attention Hello Kitty fanatics! My two blog posts for this week is all about our favorite Sanrio character - Hello Kitty! So, relax and enjoy as I share two most significant events held in different places!

The moment I saw this teaser online few months ago, I immediately contacted my friends since I cannot come home to attend the 1st Hello Kitty Run Manila 2017 in SM Mall of Asia.

According to the official Facebook Page of Hello Kitty Run Manila 2017, the event is organized Tokyo Gets Ltd and Ten:22 Business Solutions in partnership with CHERIFER Syrup, along with its official venue partner, SM By the Bay, official media partners; ETC and 2nd Avenue, Manila Bulletin, Philippine Star, Business Mirror and Otaku Asia, major partners Pocari Sweat and Crystal Clear, Toy Kingdom, Skin White, Rizal Park Hotel, Golden Phoenix Hotel, Pascual Creamy Delight, Skechers, Devant, and marketing partners Salonpas, Acer, Banana Peel, Fujifilm Instax, Softex and Healthy Innovations. This event is supported by JLOP (Japan’s Ministry of Economy and Industry, Contents Division).

It is a friendly fun 5K run/walk so don't be so competitive! I registered online (early bird) and they also have a physical venue to register. Registration fee amount is ranging from Php 1350 (early bird) to Php 1800 (last minute) which is not that bad because the Hello Kitty Run Manila race kit has awesome goodies - race bag, shirt, race bib and a Hello Kitty finisher's medal.

My friend Jeff and his wife Je-vee claimed their race kit a week before the run event. We were excited talking about their preparations and familiarizing with the activity map around in SM Mall of Asia. We found out that there are several booths and activity stage which the organizer said there will be some contests, raffles and Hello Kitty appearace before and after the run event.

The organizers also uploaded a handbook which is so very helpful.

There is also an official merchandise available for purchase during the event.

My friend described the event as a "family oriented" and "fun" activity for all ages! Since it's a Hello Kitty fun run, expect some attractions in between destinations for the fans to get the chance to take photos as their souvenir in attending the event.

He also mentioned that the booths are not enough and disorganized while claiming their medals. I told him, that's what I am expecting since I saw that there are only few claim booths and it will be hard for them to accommodate everyone! But everyone is so friendly and calm.

Overall, they had fun. I wish I can join them on the next Hello Kitty Run Manila!

Here are some of the photos and videos of the Hello Kitty Run Manila. Thank you so much to Jeff and Je-vee for sharing their unforgettable moment with Hello Kitty.

Thanks and credits to Jeff:
