Veteran Designer Anthony Nocom Tackles Ipanema Resort Wear Collection 2012
Manila, Philippines — Men's fashion has more dimension than just wearing the right color and right size. In the Philippines, men's fashion has evolved so much that Filipino males are now conscious about tailoring, structure and style. This evolution was brought to local shores by design trailblazers such as Anthony Nocom, who led the creation of fashion-forward looks for men. A veteran designer in the local fashion scene, Nocom , also known as Tonichi , has been designing commercial menswear since the 1980s. He is known for his collections that were defined by cleanly tailored linen suits and separates that embody a cool and crisp vibe. He said his design aesthetic is very much similar to how he likes to dress himself. "I like to wear clothes which make me feel good and comfortable.
