"Face it, I'm hotter than you" - Jacob Black to Edward Cullen from Eclipse This line from Eclipse burst the audience into laughter. I admit, I am not really good in reading novels. But I've been watching Twilight since it started. The first-two installments were not really my taste but Eclipse caught my attention. Maybe because the conclusion is near. You will know how the story goes as soon as you finished reading the book. As Bella's relationship to Edward went into struggle, and for Jacob's confession of love didn't make it through the end. Still, Bella has a choice to make. I understand that the highlight of this movie was their struggle against the newborns, as Victoria is seen observing the battle. Jacob was hurt during the battle and struggling to accept that Bella chose Edward. He will wait for Bella. As Bella and Edward starts planning for their wedding. One thing that Edward fears is -- How they will tell Charlie. (That's funny). I am not re...

The Karate Kid (2010) I've  been a great fan of The Karate Kid when I was young. Since then when I learned that the movie has a remake, I extremely believe it'll be more different on the first ones. This is not a continuation but rather an another story of a youngster, Dre, when his life were completely changed when he and his mother migrated to China. There was set the cultural differences, and adjustments. Soon, found a friend, Mr Han who secretely taught him Kung Fu played by Jackie Chan. The trainings went through was so different compared to other versions. Mr Han first trained Dre to focus and discipline. That "Jacket on, Jacket off" was a big blast. Dre didn't even knew that he was already in his training. A tournament fight was agreed when Mr Han told Chen's trainor that if Dre won, then, the kids won't bully him anymore. A winning stunt of 'cobra' made the fight finished with victory. I was really amazed with that style since Dre saw that ...

July 10, 2010 Sun Life: It's Time Advocacy Sofitel Philippine Plaza (sorry if there are inconsistencies, i'll review it tomorrow rather later. am so sleepy....enjoy reading!) The moment I received the email that there'll be a presscon for Sun Life introducing Piolo and his new advocacy. I immediately contacted the person in charge - many thanks Sun Life and Ms Tara :) for allowing us to attend the presscon. We arrived a little bit earlier. They said the presscon will start at 4:30pm. As we started eating and chatting, then Piolo arrived. There was a small introduction on what was the advocacy is all about. Later on, the TVC was shown (btw, while waiting, the BTS of the TVC was presented too). Formally, Sun Life announced the :It's Time dvocacy. It's basically more of promoting financial literacy and how Filipinos will prepare for their future.   An opportunity of 10-minute face-to-face question and answer was held. As a blogger, I don't want to pressure him anym...
