The word 'smart casual' is used as a preferred dress code in some professional occasion like office, meetings, conferences, or any other activities that will make the person look professional gathered in a feast.

Last Saturday, I was hoping to score smart casual stuffs so that I could easily dressed up in not that formal work attire most specially this month because we experience heavy rains during afternoons.

For my list: I searched for jackets, pants, skirts, tailored sweaters or pair of shoes.

I feel comfortable wearing a blazer or cardigan, so I tagged along my friend to check out the ladies section of SM North Edsa's department store. Our quest was followed by looking for something comfortable to wear, and can be use at any occasion.

I've also researched online on what we can consider as smart casual:


- mid-length dress
- trousers
- skirt
- jewelry
- accessories
- blazer or cardigan
- shawl
- clutch bag
- shoes
- ballerina flats

The Great Northern Sale at SM City North Edsa was a blast. The experience I had was really tiring yet rewarding.
