With everything gone digital and mobile, people’s lifestyles have evolved as well. You can now order food, shop and pay bills online. You can check news and answer mail while on the elevator. You really don’t need a desk and a computer in front of you to run an office.

The Internet has made things easier and within reach, which is why more people opt to do things online. And coupled with other technologies, watching TV is now possible with live stream and on-demand options.
The concept of myPinoy.TV started in 2008 with the goal of letting Filipinos access via the Internet their favorite shows anywhere in the world. The goal of the site was to be station-neutral, and carry as much programs as possible. In 2009, myPinoy.TV launched with shows from GMA-7, movies and Asian dramas. Other services such as Videoke and Internet Radio were also made available.

A few months later, the Pinoy Sports channel was launched, where three big sporting events were live-streamed, namely: the Donaire vs Concepcion match; Island Assault: Viloria vs Iribe; and the NBA Asia Challenge 2009 which was held in Manila. Eventually, live games from the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) were streamed.

The site has been in operation for two years now, and was recently the recipient of Top Brand Elite’s “Most Innovative Online TV Channel” award.


myPinoy.TV understands Filipinos’ love for entertainment, so more new shows are acquired to cater to different tastes. With InfiniTV, subscribers are given one-month access to watch their favorite shows online, on-demand. They can choose from myPinoy.TV’s wide variety of shows and watch when and where they want to. Now that faster Internet connections are easily availed, myPinoy.TV's services can reach more audiences, even those outside the metro.
