The Search Is On For The Oldest PC

If you are one of those guys who are fond of keeping old computer because of sentimentality of if you simply don’t have the time to throw them away, then this is definitely the time for you to make good use of them.

The Computer Manufacturers, Distributors, and Dealers Association of the Philippines has recently launched its “Hunt for the Oldest PC Contest” as part of the COMDAPP Manila Expo 2010 last Dec. 2-5 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

As the contest name says, the search is on for what can be considered as the oldest PC in the country.  The contest mechanics is quite simple. Interested participants should have their PC’s preferably in the in their original condition, meaning everything, or at least most of the components, from the date of purchase are still there. The entries need not be working, but can still be hooked up to other devices.
