More of Sheryl Vicente and her views on HotYoungDesigners

Looking for a gorgeous gown this Christmas? One of our sponsors can create one for you. Sheryl Vicente is an established designer, who believes in Hot Young Designers cause. She willingly supported us as we launched our first collection. She helped us screen and gave technical advice to the designers for our second collection.

SHEVV penetrated and made an impact on the wedding industry 2007. Having numerous clients not only Philippine-based but also overseas made her training more rigorous and challenging. She also designs formal wears, corporate wears, and casual wears on made-to-order or on bulk order. She took up AB - Legal Management in the Far Eastern University and pursued her passion for fashion in Fashion Institute of the Philippines.

She likes the timeless elegance of lace and can also be inspired by a simple element seen in the streets and just recreate into something. From a stretch of a fabric cut, she uses her imagination and hands to form new cuts and creations.

Early 2010 she ventured into Limited Ready-to-wear apparel. This new collection line brings together vintage and modern inspiration. Multi layered pieces use dark tones and lace fabrics among others reminiscent of classic Hollywood. Perfect for dates, dinner and night outs with the girls you will surely turn head with these timeless pieces. This is just a piece of herself extended through the craftsmanship of her hands to take delight in these tasteful creations. Her shop can be located at Atelier at 202 Torres Bldg., Katipunan Ave. Loyola Heights, Quezon City (Contact Details: 02-4348422 / 09178628867 / sherylvvicente@yahoo.com / www.sherylvicente.com)
Watch out for the second collection of Hot Young Designers, all reviewed by Sheryl Vicente and the HYD team. The collections will be launched this January 2012.
