Toycon 2011 Presscon at Eurotel Pedro Gil

It was a very great opportunity to witnessed the first ever conference made by the Organizers of 10th Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention also known as TOYCON 2011  happening this coming weekend - June 18 and 19, 2011 at the Megatrade Halls 1-2-3 (whew, the whole event will be jampacked with full of surprises!).

The presscon was held at Eurotel branch in Pedro Gil (infront of Robinson's Manila) in Saturday afternoon, perfect with this 'green' ambiance in time for the preparation of the Upcoming Film, Green Lantern and of course, our Presscon venue which happened to be the hotel's motif too.

All invited were composed of the event's sponsors, media partners, gamers, hobbyists/toy collectors, cosplayers, bloggers and special guests performances. Everyone is excited on the upcoming the biggest Pop Culture event that only happens during the month of June. The organizers introduced themselves and gave the brief background on how the group started their passion to conceptualize a dream come true event apart from their previous years that only involved themselves in small gatherings, swapping toys, exchanging views on the latest movie features and a lot more.


On that day, it was officially announced the participation of the most anticipated movie filming, COSPLAY NATION which will be produced by Yian studios, Beijing and internationall distributed by the China Film Group Corp known for its being the largest and most influential state-run film enterprise in China. Everyone is invited to be a part of this feature Cosplay-cultural phenomenon. Being the best event in the pop culture industry, and the Philippines as the first to transform into a Cosplay Nation that will only happen at the 10th Philippine Toycon 2011.
